| SolidWorks® 2008 Routing Training |
| Course Outline : Day 1 |
- Standard Cables
Use standard cables to create a route. Rotate route components. Create wiring report.
- Basic Electrical Routing
Add connectors to an assembly and create a route between them. Understand route properties. Auto route through clips. Edit electrical wires.
- Using Route Guidelines
Understand electrical libraries including cable and component libraries. Re-route splines through clips. Remove clips from the route. Perform harness flattening and detailing.
- Electrical Conduits
Use 3D sketching to create rigid pipe routes. Create an electrical conduit bill of materials. Add electrical routes to electrical conduit. Add an electrical bill of materials.
|
| Course Outline : Day 2 |
- Tubing Routes
Route flexible tubing using the spline tool. Route rigid tubing using 3D orthogonal sketching. Using auto route for both rigid and flexible tubing.
- Piping Routes
Route fabricated piping using orthogonal 3D sketching and angled 3D sketching. Use an alternate elbow in a piping route. Use orthogonal auto routing with pipes. Edit a piping route and add fittings to a route.
- Routing Library Parts
Understand how design library parts are used in routing. Understand the routing points in design library parts. Understand the configuration specific properties required for routing components. Generate libraries of tubing and piping part and electrical routing parts.
