SolidWorks Animator Training

Course Duration:	1/2 day
Course Description:	This course will teach you how to create animations of SolidWorks assemblies and saving as AVI files.
Prerequisites:	Free for SeaCAD customers with up-to-date subscription/s Mechanical design experience Completed SolidWorks Mechanical or Product Design training Knowledge of, or experience with Microsoft Windows operating system

Course Outline : Day 1

Introduction to Animator
Describe the key characteristics of the animator software. Identify the principal components of the animator user interface. Setting options within the animator software.
Basic Animations
Using animation wizard to create simple animations. Creating part rotations, explosion and collapses.
Editing the Timeline
Modifying animator timelines. Select and move key point in the timeline.
View Orientations
Understand how the view orientation can be manipulated during the animation.
Component Motion
Dragging components to display motion. Using simulations to display motion. Driving animations with angle and distance mates.
