Course Description:	This course will teach you how to create photorealistic rendering of parts and assemblies.
Prerequisites:	Free for SeaCAD customers with up-to-date subscription/s Mechanical design experience Completed SolidWorks Mechanical or Product Design training Knowledge of, or experience with Microsoft Windows operating system

Course Outline : Day 1

Introduction to PhotoWorks
Describe the key characteristics of the PhotoWorks software. Identify principal components of the PhotoWorks user interface.
Basic Part Rendering
Describe the basic steps to render a model with PhotoWorks software. Apply material to a model, feature and face. Applying background scenes.
Textures and Scenes
Apply texture mapped materials to models. Adding scenery to renderings.
Scenery, Lighting and Decals
Add bases and sides to scenes. Add new lights to a scene. Control shadows. Create and apply decals.
Assemblies and Configurations
Apply materials in assemblies. Apply material to part configurations. Apply materials to scenes.
Output Options
Render to screen. Control screen rendering speed. Render using contours. Render to various file types.
