Course Description:	This course will teach you how to build sheet metal parts using SolidWorks mechanical design software
Prerequisites:	Free for SeaCAD customers with up-to-date subscription/s Mechanical design experience Completed SolidWorks Mechanical or Product Design training Knowledge of, or experience with Microsoft Windows operating system

Course Outline : Day 1

Modelling Sheet Metal Parts
Introduction to sheet metal modelling methods. Learn to use extensive sheet metal features in SolidWorks. Creating cuts in sheet metal. Creating and using sheet metal forming tools including lofted bends. Create drawings of sheet metal parts.
Converting Parts into Sheet Metal
Convert legacy sheet metal part. Convert imported parts to sheet metal in SolidWorks. Unrolling conical and cylindrical shapes. Display bending sequence using configuration.
